How we approach every piece
Every watch that comes through our door follows the same opening procedure: a careful assessment before any tool is picked up. We look at the case condition, test the crown and pushers, check the crystal and seals, and — if the watch is running — observe the movement through the caseback where possible.
We write down what we find. We describe it to the owner in plain terms. We explain what the relevant service involves. Then we wait for agreement before proceeding. This is not a formality — it is the whole point. The owner of a watch knows things about its history that we do not. That context matters.
Throughout the service, we keep notes. If we find something unexpected — a cracked jewel, an incorrect replacement part from a previous service, a spring under unusual tension — we document it and decide together with the owner what to do next.
At completion, the watch is tested before collection is arranged. For quartz pieces we check timekeeping; for mechanical pieces we observe regulation and power reserve. We share the bench notes along with any observations about long-term care or future considerations.

Quartz & Battery Service
Battery renewal, seal checking, and basic water-resistance assessment for everyday quartz watches. A practical, honest service for pieces you wear daily. We explain anything we notice during the check — not to sell you additional work, but because the owner of a watch deserves to know its condition.

Strap, Bracelet & Case Care
Resizing, link work, gasket renewal, and gentle case cleaning to keep a watch comfortable and presentable. Suited to anyone wanting their daily companion refreshed without changing its character. We do not over-polish. We clean, not erase.

Service 03
Complete Vintage Overhaul
A patient, full-service restoration of older mechanical pieces, covering movement work, case attention, and sympathetic refinishing. We share notes at each milestone so nothing happens without your understanding. This is the most involved service we offer — and the one we approach with the most care.

What applies to every service
Secure piece handling
Watches in our care are individually secured in the workshop. We maintain a numbered register and do not handle pieces outside supervised bench time.
Written record at completion
Every service produces a bench document. You know what was done, what was observed, and anything we recommend watching in future.
Seal check on every opening
Any time a case is opened, seals are checked. We replace compromised gaskets as a matter of course and note water-resistance status in the bench summary.
Calibre-appropriate materials
We use lubricants and parts matched to the specific movement, not generic alternatives. For vintage calibres, we source accordingly.
Owner consulted before scope changes
If work reveals a complication, we stop and make contact before doing anything about it. No additional work proceeds without your agreement.
Performance check before return
Each watch is tested before collection is arranged. Timekeeping, crown function, and any service-specific checks are carried out and noted.
